MX Master 3S Travel Case

Addressing the issue that an expensive computer mouse does not come with any sort of travel case or protective sleeve, I scanned and measured the mouse to design an effective and secure travel case. With limited dimensions available online, determining the dimensions for the mouse was difficult however a 3D scan of the mouse allowed for me to obtain a similar profile of the top. The case is printed in ABS to ensure that the hinges and latch won’t break while attached to a bag. Four magnets are are glued in place on either side to help the case stay closed while the loop hole on both parts lines up for a carabiner to slide through. This limits the angle that the top can open to and makes sure that the mouse cannot slide out if the magnets fail.

This project is still in progress to add padding to the inside of the case and edit the design and color of the case for a nicer appearance.
